For submission of papers, one of the authors must be a Hand Surgeon and should be duly registered at the congress.

Slide Presentation = Abstract + Complete Paper WITHOUT identification

There is no limit to the number of authors or papers submitted per author.

Identification of the authors, the presenting author in the case of slide presentation, and the institution(s) involved shall be made only when filling out the electronic form on the congress website.
The abstract must NOT contain identification of the authors or institution(s) where the paper was conducted. There are specific fields for such identification in the electronic form. In addition, figures or graphs should NOT be added.
There should also be NO identification of authors/institution in the annexed file of the complete paper for the slide presentation format.
Please note: any identification of authorship or institution in the abstract or complete paper will result in its automatic disqualification.
The paper may be revised at any time from the beginning of the process until either the deadline of 18:00hrs December 05th, 2016, or until the author finalizes the submission by clicking SEND.
Information regarding the corresponding author (address, department, institution, email) must be complete and the email address valid, as all communication will take place through this email.
By submitting papers for the selection process, the authors authorize the organizing committee of MÃO 2016 and all supporters of the event, to publish or disseminate the paper nationally and internationally and in all media, with no entitlement to any copyright payment. Upon completion of the evaluation period, the accepted abstracts will be available on the congress website.
The winning papers will receive a certificate for Best Abstract in the category specified, with the name of all the registered authors and the official translation in English for submission to the journal Hand, the official scientific publication of the SBCM. Publication depends on its acceptance by the editorial board of the journal.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to exclude paper that do not follow the rules stipulated by the 36º Brazilian Congress of Hand Surgery.
Attention: the Congress team cannot at any point make alterations to the submitted papers.
In this category, the abstract of the complete paper must be inserted into the Congress electronic form and structured as follows: introduction / objective / materials and methods / results / discussion / conclusion; with a maximum of 2500 characters (with spaces).
After inserting the abstract on the site, attach the PDF file with the complete paper, without identification of authorship or institution, but it may contain graphs and figures.
Maximum size: 5 Mb and 2500 characters
Attention: any identification of authorship or institution in the abstract or complete work will automatically disqualify it.

The master slide must be downloaded from the website to ensure the standardization of paper sent, including the following division of topics:
Title – 1 slide (Title, authors/qualifications, institution)
Introduction – up to 2 slides (Definition and state of current knowledge, principle differences in the literature, hypotheses, objectives)
Methods – up to 4 slides (study design, population sample, primary and secondary variables, measurement methods, sample size calculation and statistical method)
Results – up to 3 slides (primary and secondary variable results, failures and complications)
Discussion – up to 3 slides (discussion of key results, strengths and limitations of the study)
Conclusion – 1 slide (only conclusions drawn from the findings of the study)
